  • In case you were wondering what kind of cables it takes to stabilize a floating bridge...
  • This is the old bridge's telecommunications cable (and maybe powerline?)
  • There are shocking numbers of these down here
  • Phone lines make for great Ling-cod (real name Burbot) habitat
  • These are easily the coolest looking fish in the lake
  • And big fish too
  • Also known as "poor man's lobster" in parts due to the taste
  • This dive was the only time we've seen Burbot in such numbers, and just about the only time we've seen Burbot period
  • A juvenile, camouflaging very well
  • The bike seemed like an ideal hiding place for this one

  • This bike sunk by the artificial reef society of BC is already sporting some nice marine life...
